5G-TIMBER at Mobile World Congress 2024
We are thrilled to announce the successful participation of 5G-TIMBER project at the Mobile World Congress 2024 (MWC'24), where it was presented as one of the innovative projects funded under the Horizon Europe program. Spearheaded by HPE and in collaboration with esteemed partners including Telit, Accelleran and TietoEVRY, the 5G-TIMBER project garnered significant attention for its pioneering efforts in merging 5G technology with advancements in the wood industry.
Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) took center stage at the MWC with its dedicated booth, showcasing an array of cutting-edge solutions. Among these, a highlight was the spotlight on public and private 5G, underscoring HPE's commitment to pushing the boundaries of connectivity. Notably, the booth showcased innovations in security-first networking, zero-touch telco automation, and Telco Cloud and RAN, with a particular emphasis on workload-optimized telco-grade infrastructure. Of particular interest were the private 5G solutions developed by Athonet, an HPE acquisition, which were prominently featured. These solutions demonstrated HPE's dedication to advancing private networking capabilities, promising enhanced connectivity and security for various industries.
